The Yamunotri shrine closed to the public for winter on Bhai Dooj with vedic chanting. This signal the start of the closure of the Char Dham shrines in Uttarakhand for the winters season.

Is it possible to travel Char Dham in Feb 2018 Just for sight seeing I understand the temples would be closed. it would be off peak season.

Yes, it is possible to visit snow capped Chardhams in feb 2018. You need to take permission for local authorities before trekking to Kedarnath as its long trek and one has to kept the data of travelers. As that will be snowfall season in mountains, you have to take extra preparation for the tour.
