Heater and electric blankets are kept in the Warm Rooms
During the Kedarnath Yatra, a lot of devotees from the cold fall sick. In view of this, the district administration has arranged a warm room (hot room for cold escape) here. In the first phase, warm rooms have been set up in Kedarnath, Lincholi Medical Relief Post and Bhimbali. 15 heaters were installed in the warm room of Kedarnath while in Lincholi and Bhimbali 10 and 5 heaters were installed respectively. Along with this 2 to 3 electric blankets were also placed in these three steps. There is a plan to build a warm room on the other halves of kedarnath soon.

Reason, when there is rain and snowfall, the temperature here goes below zero degrees. It is normal to deteriorate the health of the pilgrims. He also told that in the extreme cold or snowfall the devotees are victims of hypothermia. However, due to the formation of a warm room now, there will be no such problem in front of them.
