Tungnath & Madhamaheshwar will Open on 2 May & 21 May, 2018

Tungnath temple and Madhamaheshwar temple will open on May 2 and May 21, 2018. Second Kedar Madhameshwar and the third Kedar Tungnath Dham’s opening date was announced on the basis of Panchang calculation at the festival of Baisakhi. Second Kedar Madhamaheshwar kapat will be opened on May 21 at 10:30 in the morning and the third Kedar Tungnath Dham kapat will be opened on May 2 at 10.30 in the morning.

4 Dham Helicopter Package

On Saturday, the Panchkedar main site, Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath and Markandeya Temple, Makkumatha were decorated with flowers. Special prayers began to be started from 8am on Saturday to declare the date of opening the kapats of Madhameshwar Dham. After which the master priest was made to see the idol of Baba Madhameshwar. After this the aarti happened and at 9 O’Clock, the date was declared.

Puja was received from 7.30 am to announce the date of the kapat in the winter cottage Markandeya temple of third Kedar Lord Tungnath. Maithani Brahmins do the special worship of God and performed decoration of Lord Tungnath idol. After this, in the presence of BKTC administration, the date pf opening of Tungnath was declared by the priests.
