Before 1946, Pilgrims used these routes to reach Badrinath Dham
The SDRF team is headed by Mr. Sanjay Upreti. He told that the reports of all the ancient monasteries and pilgrimage places on the walkway route will be sent to the government. In the near future, these destinations are planned to be developed. On Thursday, the team captured the religious sites of Haat Village in a drone camera. Rajendra Hatwal of Haat village said that Haat village was the main stoppage for the visit of Badrinath Dham. Here pilgrims used to stay for one night and started the journey next day. He said that connecting the ancient monasteries with the Badrinath Yatra, many religious places will be recognized again.
Mythical Path of Badrinath being discovered with the help of Ancient Literature & GPS
The team of SDRF went out of Rishikesh on 20th April in search of the mythical path of Badrinath Dham. So far, the team members have set a distance of 220 km. Deepak Negi, who is in the team, told that the ancient path of Badrinath is being explored with the help of ancient literature and GPS (Global Positioning System). Help is also being taken from local peoples and Saints.
