State Disaster Response Force is fully prepared for any situation and to help the Char Dham pilgrims in case of any difficulty. SDRF Commandant Renuka Devi told media persons about SDRF preparation in Char Dham region in Uttarakhand.
The two companies of SDRF with hi tech equipments are working in rescue operations in Char Dhm route. These teams will ensure running condition of Char Dham route in case of any disaster.
More than two dozens of SDRF personnels are placed at disaster prone areas such as Kedarnath, Srinagar, Govindghat, Harshil, Lincholi, Bheembhali, Gaurikund and Sonprayag.
SDRF teams also taking out disaster awareness campaign for local villagers and pilgrims. All team personnel were given advance training to act rapidly in the circumstances of the disaster.
Apart from that, a team of 15 personnel were stationed at Shastradhara in Dehradun helipad and all teams in state have been at high alert in Uttarakhand.
