In three days, more than 84000 pilgrims have registered for Kedarnath Dham and Badrinath Dham. About 20000 pilgrims have registered on Thursday. Registration for Yamunotri Dham and Gangotri Dham can start after 20 March 2023.
As Char Dham registrations is mandatory in Char Dham Yatra 2023 and can be done easily through online, app and whatsapp, thousands of pilgrims are getting registering daily. Till now registrations are being done only for Badrinath & Kedarnath.
The date of opening of the portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be announced by the temple committees during Navratri. Only after this the tourism department will start registration for both the dhams. So far 46225 registrations have been done for Kedarnath Yatra and 37841 for Badrinath Yatra.
Deputy Director of Tourism Yogendra Gangwar said that the registration process will be started after the announcement of the opening date of Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham.
