Birla Group will collaborate with BKTC for reconstruction work
CM Rawat said that the number of devotees in Kedarnath has increased rapidly. For this, special attention will be given to the Infrastructure Development. The devotees will also be able to visit Panch Badri–Panch Kedar with Kedarnath and Badrinath, for this, it will be propagated by the tourism department’s website and other means. CM said that the work of establishment development in Kedarnath will be discussed with DM of Rudraprayag and further action will be taken after that. The government will make every possible help to facilitate devotees.
Construction work will be started once the land is finalized
Mohan Prasad Thapaliyal, President of Badri-Kedar Temple Committee said that in order to facilitate the pilgrims and convenience of the journey in Shri Kedarnath, infrastructure development is necessary. In the 2013 disaster, the structure of the temple committee was completely destroyed. Accommodation is to be made for Raval, priest and other personnel near the temple premises. Bhog Mandi, Math Bhandar, Toshkhana, Committee Office will also be made. The Aditya Birla Group is ready for the redevelopment work once the land is finalized.
