As Kedarnath Temple gates are ready to open on 29 April, Rawal will accompany the sacred palanquin from winter abode of Kedarnath, Omkareshwar temple at Ukhimath.

Chardham Yatra is a major yatra for pilgrims in India. Tourism minister appeal to follow social distancing for complete the traditions and ask for people cooperation in the opening of Chardham Temples gates. He adds that Corona Tests will be conducted to Rawals of Badrinath & Kedarnath temples.

Although the gates of Chardham temples will open in traditional way as each year but pilgrims might get Badrinath-Kedarnath darshan online from now onwards. Administration might start online darshan of Badri-Kedar and network details has been asked from DM of respective districts.
