In the next week of August, a three-member team from Prime Minister’s Office will visit several areas of Chardham and will try to find the reason, why would the CharDham Yatra be stopped during the torrential rain and disaster? Along with this the team will also find the reason, why are the pilgrims coming to Chardham suffers more difficulty now than before? Significantly, the world-famous Chardham yatra in Uttarakhand has been interrupted by rain for last one and a half months.
A year before the start of the Chardham Yatra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had shown keen interest in Kedar Dham and ordered the state government to reconstruct 5 important works there. However, none of the five works have been completed till date. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the condition of Kedar Dham through drones four times in the first 7 months before the start of the Chardham yatra.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also summoned to Delhi and ordered that Pilgrims visiting Chardham Yatra along with Kailash Mansarovar Yatra should not face any problem this year. Ironically, even after so many things, this year, the Chardham yatra has been interrupted more from the last 7 years. This matter has been taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi very seriously.
To understand the whole matter and to avoid any problem in the future, 3- member team from the Prime Minister’s Office will visit Chardham areas on Prime Minister’s order to find a relevant solution of these issues. The team will visit Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri areas for four days. After that a report will be handed over to the prime minister. During the study, the team will try to collect information about how to make Char Dham Yatra more accessible in the future so that more foreign and domestic pilgrims come to Uttarakhand.
Giving information about this, Uttarakhand Chief Home Secretary Anandvardhan said that Chardham yatra in Uttarakhand has been interrupted by rain for last one and a half months. Pilgrims faces several problems due to torrential rains. To overcome from this problem, the government is constantly making efforts to tackle it and with the help of experts we are trying to find a solution.
