Approximately three thousand pilgrims did darshan of the holy shrine Badrinath on Monday. As the number of devotees surged swiftly, they then had to form a queue in order to take blessings of the deity. The queue was there till eight in the morning after which the crowd gradually eased down. Pilgrims did darshan easily after it without the need of forming a row.
The weather conditions were also favourable these days. The surge in number of pilgrims has also left the businessmen of the major stages of yatra in excitement. Chairman of Badrinath Trade Union Jamuna Prasad Raiwani, Vinod Nawani and Shyam Panchpuri said the pilgrims inflow is expected to rise in June. Chief of Badri-Kedar Mandir Samiti told the increase in number of devotees has made the environment of Char Dham joyous and lively.
