The kapaat of Kedarnath Dham are to be opened on 29 April. Amidst the period of lockdown, there are certain directives has been released which will be followed during the opening of kapaat of Kedarnath Temple.
During the opening of Kedarnath Dham, only 16 persons will be present with Chief Priest. No pilgrims will be allowed to participate in the opening ceremony of Kedarnath Temple.
Badrinath opening date shift to 15 May, But Kedarnath open on same date – Why ?
There is difference between the Puja systems followed at Badrinath and Kedarnath. AT Badrinath, only rawal could do the Puja of Lord Narayana. But in Kedarnath, rawal nominate the Chief Priest to do all Puja chores of Lord Badrinath. So in case if rawal is not available for opening of Kedarnath Dham, Chief Priest will do the opening ceremony of Kedarnath Temple.
