In morning hundreds of pilgrims on foot left Sonprayag for Kedarnath. Badrinath highway was closed, which opened at afternoon by the BRO. However, Gangotri, Yamunotri and Hemakund is traveling smoothly. After the rain subsided, the number of pilgrims has increased to Chardham.
Incessant overnight rains at many places in Uttarakhand affected the Chardham Yatra with pilgrimage to the Himalayan shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath being intermittently interrupted but since opening date 113 to 516 passenger has appeared to Kedarnath baba. Meanwhile, this morning from debris Lambagad Badrinath national highway was interrupted near the BRO personnel have opened. Vehicles and passenger traffic is smooth. Meanwhile, Gangotri, Yamunotri and is Hemakunta travel smoothly. Today more than a hundred passengers left for the Govindghat Henmkund Sahib.
