In coming days heavy rainfall may be occur in Uttarakhand state, which can affect Chardham Yatra too. Heavy rainfall held until noon, due to this the devotees of Kedarnath Yatra had been stopped near Sonprayag. Landslides has halted many routes near Badrinath.
MET warned Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pauri for heavy rainfall. In Kedarnath trek route near Junglechatti was broken due to landslide, but at mid of the day it was fixed and routes were clear. 42 devotees left Sonprayag for Kedarnath. Hemkund Yatra is resume smoothly, 150 devotees sailed from Govindghat to Ghaghariya.
