Kedarnath Heli Service Tickets Will Be Booked Through IRCTC

On the lines of railways, now tickets for Kedarnath Heli Service will now be booked from IRCTC for the journey to Kedarnath Dham. For the first time, an MoU has been signed between the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority and IRCTC for ticket booking. Now Kedarnath Helicopter Online Ticket Booking has been given to Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to ensure transparency in booking of Kedarnath Heli service tickets and to prevent black marketing.

On Wednesday, MoU has been signed by UCADA CEO C. Ravi Shankar and IRCTC Director General (IT) Sunil Kumar. Presentation of system developed by IRCTC to officials of UCADA for ticket booking has been given. IRCTC officials informed that by March 31, the trial of the platform prepared for online booking will be completed. UCADA has said to start booking tickets for Kedarnath Heli Service from the first week of April.

Tender will Open Today for Operation from Guptkashi

The tender for operation of Kedarnath Heli Service from Guptkashi in Rudraprayag district will open today. Three companies have applied for Guptkashi to Kedarnath Heli Service. Work has been allotted to four companies for heli service from Sirsi and Phata. Heli service will be operated from Phata through Pawan Hans, Castral Aviation, from Sirsi through Himalayan Heli, Castral Aviation.
