Chardham yatra this year has break 2014 record only in 14 days. In 2014, total 1,70,000 pilgrims had done photometric registrations for sacred yatra. But, now in 2016, its takes 14 days only to get 1,82,000 pilgrims registered.
Earlier it was believed that resurrection will take a decade after the 2013 floods. But the huge turnout of pilgrims this year makes smile on the face of local businessmen on chardham route.
Most number of registration 98312 has been done for Kedarnath dham. Its been known that total 4,60,000 registrations has been done in 2015.
