For the Kedarnath Yatra starting from May 6, small and big hotels in Kedarnath Dham yatra route have got 45 to 55 percent advance booking. Most of the bookings are from May 31 to June 10 and hotel owners are very happy with it. These days, along with the work of painting hotels, lodges, dhabas from Guptkashi to Gaurikund, new construction works are also being done.
Shri Kedardham Hotel Association President Prem Goswami and Secretary Nitin Jamloki said that the Chardham Yatra is being booked by pilgrims from different states of the country. The faces of the hoteliers of Kedar Ghati are full of enthusiasm from the travelers. Digambar Goswami, Bipin Nautiyal, Pramod Nautiyal, Kishan Singh Rawat told that this time Baba Kedar’s journey is expected to be better than the first day itself.
He has demanded the Uttarakhand government and the district administration to issue guidelines for the yatra by April 15. Gaurikund’s trade union president Arvind Goswami said that this time many people are building hotels in the hope of better conduct of the yatra. Chardham Yatra to be started from 1st April. Instructions have been given to all the executing agencies in this regard.
