Rainfall is unlikely to stop in Uttarakhand. According to Weather Bureaus forecast in the next 36 hours most of the areas of the state will experience rainfall. Heavy rainfall will occur in some of the areas of the district. Due to the disturbed weather the pilgrimage in Rudryaprayag and Chamoli may be disrupted.
On Tuesday the helicopter service was started to Kedarnath, which was closed from last two days due to bad weather. While Kedarnath walkabout trek has been obstructed the pilgrims have been stopped at various places. Whereas, pilgrimage to Badrinath, Yamunotri and Hemkund Saheb is continuing. On Tuesday the people belonging to outer regions of the state were troubled due to rainfall as water entered the houses and it accumulated at various places. Administration has asked help from the army as flood like situation may arise at Laksar in Haridwar.
