The Transport Department has about a dozen check posts in the state, this time the transport department has made six additional check posts at Kothal Gate, Tapovan, Damta, Bhadrakali, Sonprayag, Joshimath this time in Chardham Yatra. In each check post, four employees of the department will check the papers of trains.
The Transport Department has asked about 100 buses from Uttarakhand transport corporation and 100 buses from the Kumaon Motor Owner Union for the Chardham Yatra. In the peak time of the journey, these bus will be put up on the Chhatham Yatra route.
