Rates of GMVN TRH have been increased upto 5 to 25%
In this, Rent of some rest houses has been increased by 5 to 10, 15, 20 and 25% respectively. The rent of Auli TRH has been increased from Rs.5310 to 6200, in Jakholi Rs.2700 to 3100, whereas the Rudra Kendra of Rishikesh Ganga Resort has been rented for Rs.7000. The rate of TRH in Bharat Bhoomi Rishikesh has been increased from Rs.1000 to 2000 and in Ukhimath Rs.1300 to 1700 and in Gangotri from 2200 to 2700 rupees. GMVN has not increased the rates of Rishikesh Ganga Resort including Lansdowne, Cheela, Mussoorie, & Dhanulati. Rent of Only 20 out of 100 bungalows has increased. There is no increase in other 60 bungalows. The process of giving 20 bungalows to PPP mode is underway.
Increase in all three categories of Chardham
Rates have been increased in the three categories of a tour package from Haridwar-Rishikesh to Chardham Route. This increase has been done from 2000 to 4000 rupees per seat. Rent from Rishikesh to Badrinath–Kedarnath Dham along with a vehicle for TRH has been increased from Rs.14000 / – per person to Rs.16000.
From Haridwar, the same fare has been increased from Rs.14600 to Rs.16960 / – per person. For children, the rent has been kept from Rs.14190 per seat to Rs.16475, for senior citizens, from Rs.13990 to Rs.16230. For the Chardham from Haridwar, the rent has been increased from Rs.22140 per seat to Rs.25030, for Children’s Rs.21466 to Rs.24220, for senior citizens rate have been increased from Rs.21120 to Rs.23820. For the Chardham from Rishikesh, the same rate has been increased from Rs.20400 to Rs.23830, For Children Rs.19730 to Rs.23020, and for Senior Citizen Rs.19390 to Rs.22620.
