This has caused huge damage to the Rishi Ganga Power Project. During this period, the main bridge has also been hit. Also, the Tapovan Vishnugadh hydropower project under construction of NTPC has been badly affected. The administration has alerted the people living along the banks of the Alaknanda River and the Dhauli River, they are being asked to move away.
