The centre of faith and worship, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open its Kapat for darshan on 28 April. Shri Panch Temple Committee has decided the opening dates of Gangotri. Earlier the opening dates for Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham has been declared. Badrinath will open on 06 May and Kedarnath on 03 May.
Gangotri Temple Committee official told that Goddess Ganga palanquin will leave its winter abode Mukhwa, Mukhimath at 01:00 pm on 27 April. It will take rest at night on Bhairon Ghati’s Bhairav Temple. The Gangotri gates will open at 12:15 pm on 28 April after special pooja. Yamunotri temple will open on the same day and shubh muhurat will be decide on 02 April.
