Due to huge traffic of pilgrims in Chardham yatra, the compulsiveness of medical fitness is being ended. Earlier it is mandatory for pilgrims above 50 yrs to have medical. The step have been taken after huge pilgrims coming for Chardham.
After the 2013 aftermath, the Photometric registration and medical fro above 50 yrs have been made compulsory. The time consuming process of medical examination is ended gaving some relief for pilgrims. Although Medical and Para medical staffs are posted in various yatra padavs for help.
