It was the first time in the history of Kedarnath, when Holi was celebrated here. All credit goes to the NIM team, which is still working towards the restoration after the flash floods.

The holi was celebrated in the morning: 6 March 2014.

Earlier, The NIM team under the leadership of Col. Ajay Kothiyal also celebrated Republic Day and Maha Shivratri for the first time in Kedarnath Dham.
