TGMO has started direct bus service from Kedarnath yatra major stop Sonprayag to Badrinath. First day 22 passengers left for Badrinath darshan. One bus per day will be operated daily on the route which will relieve passengers from changing bus half-way.
Sonprayag direct bus service to the Badrinath has been launched. On Friday, Sector magistrate Sonpryag Vishram Singh Negi flagged off the vehicle. Vehicle Operations company TGMO launched Vishwanath service for Badrinath. This service will directly operate from Sonpryag to Badrinath and vice versa on daily basis. The devotees will not have to change bus after Kedarnath yatra for Badrinath darshan. Station Charge Krishna Mohan Singh Negi said, seeing the problems of people the company launched Vishwanath service. A bus will run every day from Sonprayag, he added. Depending on the number of passengers decision on the second bus run will be considered. On this occasion, Rakesh Goswami Gurikund village head, the station in-charge Krishna Mohan Singh, Mukesh Goswami, Dwarka Prasad Goswami, including Ramesh Negi large number of local merchants and pilgrims were present.
