Pilgrims coming from outside states in Chardham Yatra will have to bring Covid Negative Investigation Report (RTPCR) or Vaccination Certificate along with them. Last year too, permission was granted to visit Chardham Yatra only on the basis of limited number and Covid negative report.
Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that in view of the increasing infection, there will be a mandatory requirement of Corona Negative Report or Vaccination Certificate for the pilgrims coming to Chardham Yatra. He said that Chardham Yatra will be started following the guidelines of the Center.
The capacity of how many pilgrims can visit each day in every pilgrimage will also be determined. Last year too, the journey between Corona transitions was well conducted. Along with this, social distancing, wearing of masks, sanitization will be strictly followed in the Chardham temples under the Covid rules.
Also, the system of registration of passengers can be adopted same as in the previous year. In each dham, pilgrims will be allowed to visit only on the basis of daily capacity.
