The doors of Badrinath Dham will be open on 12 May 2024 Tentatively. The exact date and time of opening of Badrinath Temple have been announced officially on 14 Feb 2024 on the day of Basant Panchami. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham open on Akshaya Tritiya. This time the festival of Akshaya Tritiya is coming on 10 May 2024. And Kedarnath Dham opening date have been announced on Mahashivratri and will open on 10 May 2024.

The website of the tourism department will be opened from 15 April for travel registration after the date of opening of the portals of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham is fixed.
Darshan will not be allowed without Registration
It is mandatory for the devotees coming from the state and outside states to register for Chardham Yatra. Darshan will not be allowed without registration. This time counters will not be opened on Chardham Yatra routes for offline registration. A counter will be opened at the travel office in Rishikesh itself.
