Chardham Yatra from 05 am to 08 pm
The Transport Department has fixed the time of operation of vehicles on the Chardham Yatra route. Vehicles will be operated on the journey route from five in the morning to eight in the night. This decision, intended to curb the accident, will prevent vehicles running late at night through checkposts of transport department and police.
Entry exit timings to curb speedy vehicles
In order to stop the speedy vehicles on the journey, commercial vehicle drivers will require to mark the date and time in the checkpost at the beginning of the journey and time of returning in the greencard on the same check post. For example, if the journey time is seven days, then the driver has to enter the first day on the way out and on the seventh day after returning. If he returns before the scheduled time without reason, his greencard will be canceled.
