All Weather Road : Badrinath National Highway Will Remain Closed Till August 25

Badrinath National Highway will remain closed till August 25. Due to road cutting work in Totaghati beyond Kaudiyala, Rishikesh – Devprayag road will be closed till 25 August. Earlier the deadline for the Chardham Yatra main route closure was August 15.

4 Dham Helicopter Package

Assistant Engineer Mrityunjay Sharma of PWD National Highway Section of Srinagar said that due to All Weather Road cutting, work in progress on Totaghati between Kaundiyala and Devprayag is going on. Therefore, the movement of vehicles on Badrinath route will remain closed till August 25.

He said that earlier national highway was closed till August 15 due to the mountain cutting. On the closure of Badrinath National Highway, the vehicle going to Srinagar, Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, Kedarnath, Badrinath will go from Rishikesh via Bipuram Maletha to Srinagar Garhwal and will use the same route in return.
