The portals of the famous Badrinath temple situated in the high Himalayan region of Uttarakhand will be closed on November 17 this year for the winter season. Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee told that the doors of Badrinath Temple will be closed for devotees on 17 November at 05:13 PM.
On the occasion of Vijayadashami, at the temple premises after the worship ceremony, the closing time and date was decided by Dharmadhikari Bhuwan Chandra Uniyal & the other staff of the temples. This year the portals of Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 17 at 05:13 PM. During this time, the Chief priest of the temple, Raval Ishwari Prasad Namboodari was also present. 2000-3000 devotees were present in the worship in the temple on the festival of Vijayadashmi despite the cold winter due to snow falling on the top of the hills of Badrinath.
