Uttarakhand chief secretary Rakesh Sharma has provided his three main priorities for the next three months. Completion of Kedarnath work before winters is on its top list. He said to complete all work by 15 Dec 2015.
One of the task is to upgrade the Chardham Helipad at Guptkashi for MI 17 helicopters landing making easy material supply to Kedarnath.
There would also be a contruction of a parking at Sonprayag and development of Rambara, both task would be completed by November 21.
He further added on strengthening of air connectivity in the state “My priority would be to start flights between Delhi and Chinyalisaur (Uttarkashi) and Pithoragarh by New Year. These two places would also be connected with helicopter services. This would help boost tourism in the state as well as increase the revenue.”
The bidding process for the ropeway from Lincholi to Kedarnath would also be completed soon, after which materials would be transported through this ropeway, said the chief secretary.
