The advance booking of vehicles for coming Char Dham Yatra is going to make record registrations. After 2013 floods, this is the first time that 60% of vehicles get advance bookings till now. From 17 May, everyday around 40 buses will take pilgrims for Chardhams. If weather stays favourable in June, then huge pilgrims turnouts to be seen in Chardham yatra.
Lots of pilgrims have done advance bookings of vehicles for Chardham this year. Booking are being done for Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. The Chardham yatra is being started from 07 May. For first day 10 vehicles will depart for yatra. There will be three fold in number of vehicle by 17 May.
1200 Vehicles Listed for Chardham Yatra
The lottery for selection of vehicles for Chardham yatra will be held on 23 April. Out of nine transportation companies, five has provided lists of their vehicles. TGMO, Doon Valley, Garhwal Mandal Contract Carraige, Yatayat and GMCC has provided list of 1200 vehicles.
