Local administration tighten their belts to complete travel arrangements for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra. Despite the holiday, DM held a meeting with officers engaged in the yatra arrangement work reviewed the work done so far and instructed them to bring a change in the plan. He emphasised on getting the arrangements done actively before the onset of char dham yatra.
In the meeting conducted on Tuesday DM Ashok Kumar said “The way inclement weather conditions are posing as a challenge before administration, we will have to work with double strength.” DM ordered PRD soldiers, doctors along with health workers to immediately deploy in Badrinath. DM also said, the way electricity department completed the work before time and overcame power shortage in Badri dham, the work is really appreciable. DM also ordered drinking water, communication and other departments to speed up the work pace.
