Limited Pilgrims to allow for Chardham Yatra in Covid-19
Government is preparing to carry out Chardham Yatra from June 8. Only limited number of pilgrims will be allowed to visit Chardham shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri & Yamunotri. In starting phase, only pilgrims from the Uttarakhand state will be allowed to visit Chardham shrines. In next phase with the talking from other states, pilgrims from other states will be allowed for Chardham Yatra. All these measures are to follow social distancing and making no rush in Chardham Yatra. Chardham Buses will be only available for other states pilgrims only after mutual consent of states.
No permission for other states pilgrims for Chardham Yatra
In the first phase of Chardham Yatra starting from 8 June, no permission will be allowed for Chardham pilgrims from other states. Government is doing so to follow the health guidelines from the Health Ministry.
