Shri Badrinath Dham kapaat will open on 15 May instead of 30 April now. Shri Kedarnath Dham may be open on 14 May, exact dates of opening of Kedarnath kapaat will be decide tomorrow. Due to Coronavirus lockdown, Tehri Maharaja Manujyendra Shah declared the new date of opening of Badrinath temple.
Minister Satpal Maharaj, Tehri MP and representative of roya family Mala Rajya Lakshmi, Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh, DGP Anil Raturi, Secreatary Dilip Jawalkar are also participated in the meeting. The discussion has been done about the rawal of Badrinath could do the opening ceremony of Badrinath.
On 5 May the ceremony of Gadu Ghada will be done at Narendranagar Rajmahal. Opening date of Kedarnath Dham may also be change and will be declared by 21 April by rawal of Kedarnath Bhimashankar Ling. The kapaats of Gangotri and Yamunotri will be open on same dates as decided earlier i.e on 26 April.
