Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has made a new plan for the decoration of the eleventh Kedarnath temple in the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Ashutosh. More than 30 quintals of marigold and other flowers will be used to decorate Kedarnath temple on the occasion of opening of the doors.
All Doors will be Decorated with Flowers
The special thing is that this year not only the front gate of the temple but also the south and west gates as well as the back side will be decorated with garlands. According to the committee, the temple will be decorated in an interval of at least one month.
Along with this, the temple will be beautified with colorful lights and garlands on Rakshabandhan, Independence Day, Shri Krishna Janmashtami and other festivals as well. BKTC CEO Yogendra Singh said that necessary arrangements are being made to ensure that the Kedarnath temple is decorated with flowers and garlands from the time the doors open till the doors are closed.
