he Uttarakhand government will provide hospitality training to 4000 employees working in the hotels situated on the Chardham Yatra route. At the same time, the government has also targeted to prepare 1,000 tourist guides on Chardham Yatra Route. This will help the local unemployed youths to earn some money with the help of their knowledge about the local areas.
On Tuesday, Ramesh Petwal, Regional Head of ILFS Project of Skill Development Corporation Limited met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. He said that after the construction of All Weather Road, the number of visitors in Chardham will increase.
In this case, the hotel staff and youth have decided to train the tourist guides. In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that entrepreneurship training is the main objective of the Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme for the youth.
