Four Heli Companies Shut Down Their Services in Kedarnath, Resumes in September

As the monsoon season starts, heli companies operating in Kedarnath are now started to stop their services.On Thursday, four companies have shut down their services for monsoon season, while other four companies had already stopped their services in the last week of June. Now there are only one Heli Company is operating in Kedarnath.

Nine heli companies are operating there flights for Kedarnath. Since the opening of KedarNath’s Dham on April 29, about 69 thousand passengers have seen Baba Kedar through heli services so far. S S Panwar, Nodal Officer of Heli Services said that the number of passengers in kedarnath decreases due to rain. Apart from this the weather is affected due to weather malfunction and fog. On Wednesday, the number of passengers traveling to Kedarnath was 328. In such cases, heli companies stopped their business in rainy season. Now only the Pinnacle Aviation is operating their services in Kedarnath. Now these companies will start their services in the first week of September.
