President Ram Nath Kovind to Visit Kedarnath on 21st Sept

President Ram Nath Kovind is going to visit Kedarnath on 21 Sept for first time after becoming the President. Preparations have been started in Kedarnath & Uttarakhand for the President’s visit. The Chief Secretary and the DGP will be receiving them at Jollygrant airport.

Meanwhile, the presence of cabinet ministers other than the Chief Minister is also possible. The President will worship in Kedarnath. Apart from this, he will also put the foundation stone of Mandakini Ghat and the guest house to be contructed from CSR fund of ONGC, THDC and Jindal Group. From there, President will arrive at Jollygrant Airport and return to Delhi.

we are planning to visit kedarnath on 20 September. is there any news for stopping pilgrims on the way of kedarnath due to security reasons of presidents visit?

No, There is no news of any such thing. Though there will be security checks, but no one will be stopped. Because, only security checks happened earlier when last President Pranab Mukherjee visited Kedarnath.
