Uttarakhand Govt now makes Alcohol test mandatory for every pilgrims on Chardham route. For the safety and sanctity of the yatra, the administration will set up checking points in the districts of Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Uttarkashi. With this idea, the govt will also promote Dev Bhoomi as Sanskar Bhoomi (Land of Culture).

4 Dham Helicopter Package

For alcohol test, checking points will be at entry of pilgrimage routes. The administration will ensure that pilgrims don’t drink and drive. Pilgrims staying at hotels has no restrictions. Random checks will be taken by team with breath analysers.
