The survey of project of connection of Chardham with rail line will start from December month. Now shrines in high himalayas will be connected with railways in Uttarakhand. These shrines are Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on thursday said that Chardham Rail Line Project Survey will start from next month. It is known that Rishikesh-Karanprayag rail line work will start from this year end. This multi million project is made possible by 15 tunnels, 15 bridges and 10 stations.
