Common Pilgrims & VIP’s will now stand in the same queue for Kedarnath Darshan
District Magistrate Mangesh Ghildiyal says that the eastern gate of Kedarnath temple has been closed for the time being. This decision has been decided by consulting the common people of Badri Kedar Temple Committee, police administration, and pilgrimage society. As soon as the number of pilgrims will come down, old arrangements will be re-operated. Around 20 thousand pilgrims are coming every day in Kedarnath. The administration is facing problems for providing facilities for them. On the other hand, the weather is getting worse. This is also a big challenge for the district administration.
Special pooja is happening at night instead of day
If you talk about special pooja, then this special puja, which cost Rs.2100, Rs.5100 and Rs.11000, are not being done in the day. All these special prayers are going on but after 10 pm or 3 am in the morning. These rituals have been stopped in the day, due to which there should not be any problem for the devotees in the temple premises.
