Token system was a flop last year
The token system was implemented by the administration in Badrinath Dham last year also, but due to increase in the crowd, not everyone could get the token and this system proved to be a flop. Many passengers were not even aware of the token. However, the administration claims that this time the system is being implemented better.
Devotees will not need to stand in queue for darshan in Badrinath Dham. Tokens will be issued to the passengers for darshan. He will be able to visit the temple only at the time mentioned in the token. On Wednesday, District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana held a meeting and gave instructions to make proper arrangements for tokens.
