On 15th October, CM, Harish Rawat will inaugurate many new projects for the rehabilitation of Kedarnath. Head Secretary Rakesh Sharma has reviewed the reconstruction work of Kedarnath and also headed the High Power Committee of State Disaster Managment Pradhikran. He also took information about the three layer security wall and it’s construction.
Two layers of security wall has been constructed and third one is under construction. Decission on construction of three valley bridge using new technic will take place within one week. Building work of Pier on river Mandakini and Saraswati is started. Construction work of new buildings for passengers, meditation center, view point and 113 rooms for temple visitors will also inaugurate on 15 Oct. Kedarnath zone will also facilitated with Wifi Zone, Biometric registration and tracking system.
Longest Bridge of Uttarakhand will be constructed at Son Village
It is a good news for all the passengers who wish to visit Kedarnath, a longest bridge of state will build at Son village. Now the devotees of Kumaon and Garhwal can reach to the shrine very easily. This bridge will build on Son and Mandakini river. Government has passed the tender of 90 crore for the construction of the longest bridge. Because of the disaster of 2013 the bridge was washed out two times and due to this Yatra was banned many times. Bridge will construct at the confluence point of both river.
