On Monday the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Mr. Harish Rawat said the pilgrims who are proceeding for Char Dham Yatra are the responsibility of the state govenment. In an interview Harish Rawat told the media – each and every person who comes here is the responsibility of the govenment and we are here to keep them safe.

The yatra to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri and Hemkund Saheb has been hampered due to disturbed weather. Meanwhile, the restoration work of roads and bridges leading to the shrines is progressing rapidly.
