Highest toll 2779 pilgrims visit Kedarnath temple

On Monday, the highest number reached of 2779 devotees for darshan of Kedar baba. Since the opening of portals, this is the first time the number of pilgrims reached a new height in a single day. Out of 2779 pilgrims, 1511 are male; 1186 are female; 79 children and 3 foreigner ladies went for the yatra.

So far 36073 pilgrims completed succesfull yatra to the Char Dham. Rise in the pilgrims inflow has been noticed in the last few days. Devotees also did darshan of Dwitiya Kedar – Madmaheshwar and Tritiya Kedar – Tunganath. DM Dr Raghav Langar said seeing the rising number of pilgrims, orders of better arrangements have been given to the deployed personnels.
