Winter Chardham Yatra starts – Large Number of Pilgrims Visiting Winter Abodes

Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, told that 75 pilgrims reached Badrinath Dham’s winter worship place Yoga Dhyan Badri Pandukeshwar and 978 pilgrims reached Adiguru Shankaracharya Gaddi Sthal Joshimath. Apart from this, till December 14, a total of 11641 pilgrims reached Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath, the winter seat of Kedarnath Dham and second Kedar Madmaheshwar.

The total number of devotees in the winter worship places of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham has reached more than 12500. According to the information received from the Yamunotri temple committee, after the closure of Yamunotri Dham on October 26, the devotees are still coming to the winter seat of Kharsali and Mukhba, the winter seat of Gangotri temple, for worship.
