4 Dham Helicopter Package

So far there are 43 national heritage sites in Uttarakhand, but none of the four world famous Dhams of Devbhoomi are included in them. First, there is a preparation to include Kedarnath temple in it. In the year 2007, efforts have been made to include Kedarnath and Badrinath temples in the National Heritage sites list.

But then it could not be included in the national heritage due to lack of permission from the headquarters of the Archaeological Department in Delhi. This time there has been a proposal from the government to include the Kedarnath temple itself. Manoj Kumar Saxena, in-charge of the Archaeological Survey of India Dehradun Division and senior archaeologist, said that a proposal has come from the government to include Kedarnath temple in the National Heritage. Survey will be done soon.

Benefits of National Heritage

  • After declaring a National Heritage, special security measures are taken.
  • The responsibility of maintenance is handed over to the Archaeological Survey Department.
  • After becoming a National Heritage, the central government releases the budget.
  • Construction work is restricted up to 100 meters of the heritage.
  • The permission of the competent authority is necessary for repair up to 200 meters radius.

Worship and offering to Committee, tampering will be stopped

If the Kedarnath temple gets the status of National Heritage, then the temple committee will be responsible for the worship of the temple. The offerings coming to the temple will also be of the committee. There will be a ban on any kind of construction work in the temple.

Old survey will not work

From 2003 to 2007, Kedarnath was surveyed by the Archaeological Department, but this time it will not work. Along with the survey again, information about the revenue records related to the temple will be taken from the Rudraprayag district administration.
