The Chief Minister has directed that all the priests, shopkeepers, dhaba operators, local residents, mule-kandi operators, cab drivers and other travelers who come to the Char Dham Yatra in the near future will have to be vaccinated. Those who can come in direct contact with them, their Covid vaccination should be done on priority. This will ensure the safety of the pilgrims as well as all of them coming in the Chardham Yatra.
Vaccination started from 16 January
The Uttarakhand government said that the Covid vaccination in the state is being conducted successfully from January 16, 2021 as a result of the continuous efforts being made by the districts. Along with this, from time to time, all the districts have been sharing vaccination related coverage, wastage and guidelines received from the Government of India.
Additional vaccines given to 5 districts
According to the orders issued by the Chief Minister to increase the speed of Covid 19 vaccination with a view to Char Dham Yatra, this additional vaccine was provided by the state to the districts of Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Tehri and Pauri, which are on the route of Char Dham Yatra. .
