Like last year, this time also, the government has decided to conduct Chardham Yatra from three districts from July 1. To comply with the Covid rules, it will be mandatory for the pilgrims to register, e-pass and Covid negative test report on the lines of last year.
Tourism, Health, Electricity, Drinking Water, Public Works, Urban Development, Panchayati Raj Departments in Uttarakhand has 10 days to complete the arrangements for Chardham Yatra. On behalf of the government, all the departments have been instructed to make arrangements for the convenience of the pilgrims in the Chardhams by June 30.
Devasthanam Board Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner Garhwal Ravinath Raman says that the government has decided to conduct Chardham Yatra for the people of Chamoli, Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag districts from July 1 and for the people of the state from July 11. A separate SOP will be issued by the tourism department to follow the Covid rules in travel. He said that like last year, there will be a system of registration of pilgrims and e-pass in Chardham Yatra.

- Chardham Yatra is starting from July 01, 2021.
- Only pilgrims from Chamoli, Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag districts can visit Chardham Temples now.
- Pilgrims from other Uttarakhand districts can visit Chardham Yatra from July 11, 2021.
- All pilgrims need to have registration, e-pass and RTPCR negative report to visit Chardham Temples.
