Now Kedarnath priests will get new homes in Kedarpuri. The govt will complete the houses constructions before starting of next year Yatra. There are 44 houses work has been completed to first floor.
Now after three years of flood, Kedarnath is getting beautiful as it was previously known for. After construction of walking paths and clearing up of debris, now reconstruction of partially destroyed houses is being done. There were more than 300 priests became homeless. Now government has given responsibility to NIM to construct houses for priests.
These houses will be of single or double floor as per old house maps and there will more than 300 house to be constructed by govt fund. These houses will give over to priests when completed.
